Anne Burrell

Anne W. Burrell (born on 25th August 1949) is an American television chef and host. She was also an instructor at the Institute of Culinary Education. She hosts Secrets of a Restaurant Chef on Food Network. Food Network. Anne Burrell, with her famous spiky blonde hair and pumped-up persona on the Food Network's Secrets of a Restaurant Cook series, provides an easy and straightforward techniques for home cooks. Chef Burrell is also a veteran of New York City's best restaurants. She has also explored Italy's cuisine and the culture of Italy, along with the natural landscape. Growing up in upstate New York, Chef Burrell was captivated by cooking and eating in her early years. She pursued her passion for working in the restaurant business by enrolment at The Culinary Institute of America after obtaining a degree in English as well as Communication at Canisius College, Buffalo NY. She says "I enjoyed being a Culinary Institute of American student. I was awed by every moment." The Culinary Institute of America was a great location to learn. After graduation, Burrell worked at La Bottega del 30 in Tuscany and La Taverna del Lupo (in Umbria) while attending the Italian Culinary Institute for Foreigners. In Italy she developed an appreciation for and knowledge of Italian cuisine. It had a significant effect on the way she thinks about food. Burrell has been a member of the Garden of Dreams Foundation Advisory Board to improve the lives of kids facing problems. Burrell is also a Juvenile Research Foundation Celebrity Ambassador where she advocates for the awareness of the condition known as juvenile diabetes. She talks about her culinary love and imparts her knowledge of the culinary world, as she regularly goes on trips across the USA in various roles such as speakers and mentors. Through her culinary adventures, Anne has often said that I am extremely fortunate to have the opportunity to share my passion in life with others.
